“Perfectly placed for historical accuracy!”
Country House Sunday, ITV

Living Military History provide authentic historical portrayals for heritage and community events. We specialise in British medical military interpretations including First and Second World War Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC), Airborne RAMC, Royal Naval Medical Services and RAF Medical Services from 1900 to the present day. We also portray Home Guard, Home Front and Victorian Era civilian and military.

Graham Bandy is able to provide a substantial display as an individual with his extensive collection of original uniforms and equipment. His Military-Medical Displays can be seen at many major events in the UK and abroad.

He also works in conjunction with a number of established living history groups and is a member of The Great War Society, The Royal Warwickshire Regiment 1914-1918 and Northamptonshire based, Pitsford Home Guard.

Highlights in recent years include the Lord Mayor’s Show as part of the RAF Regiment Historical Flight, The Great War Society 200 mile march in full authentic First World War kit from Whitehall to Wipers (Ypres), a medical display at the Passchendaele Museum in Belgium and by special invitation of the Maltese Government - the 2010 Military Mtarfa event in Malta.

Graham Bandy has spent many years as a member of the British Army and is therefore trained in modern ceremonial drill movements.  He is also able to portray and train others in relevant  period drill for each era. He has a keen eye for accuracy in all aspects of any interpretation.

Wherever possible we use original clothing and equipment and if not available we use historically accurate reproductions in order to provide the most authentic experience we can.
